Rold Gold Retrievers is dedicated to producing exceptional working Labradors that combine structural excellence with high drive. Our goal is to breed genuine Labradors capable of thriving both in the show ring and in demanding working roles. By carefully selecting exceptional dogs, our aim is to produce exceptional dogs.
Our May 2024 litter has already demonstrated outstanding potential, producing powerful, scent-driven dogs with a strong work ethic. These Labradors are well-suited for a variety of high-performance roles, including law enforcement detection work, medical alert service dogs, or handlers seeking a versatile “all-around” working companion.

Cäser is our distinguished chocolate Labrador stud dog. With a lean 80-pound physique and exceptional drive in tracking and obedience, he exemplifies the ideal working Labrador. Cäser remains unfazed in a variety of environments, including bustling New York City, demonstrating remarkable stability. He has an excellent “on/off switch,” showing incredible drive and power during work while remaining calm and docile at home.
Cäser is a beautiful example of working structure in the Labrador breed, meeting breed standards for height, weight, and confirmation. His deep, rich color and dense, water-resistant coat make him as visually impressive as he is functional.
Cäser’s strong preference for human companionship, paired with his independent work ethic, makes him a standout in the field. He is capable of working autonomously while maintaining a keen desire to please his handler. He possesses a high food drive, even higher ball drive, and an exceptional water drive—truly a water dog at heart.
Cäser also serves as my working demo dog, assisting with Raise & Train puppies and attending speaking demonstrations. He is a proven producer of high-quality working dogs, passing on excellent environmental stability, strong drives, and that all-important “off switch” at home.

Ginger is a remarkable female Labrador with a sporty demeanor and exceptional working abilities. Weighing 50 pounds, she possesses a drive and stamina that rivals that of a German Shepherd, excelling in a variety of tasks. Her endurance, focus, and determination consistently set her apart in the world of sporting dogs.
Ginger demonstrates strong handler focus, extremely high ball and food drive, and the ability to work with power and precision while maintaining environmental stability. She combines intense drive with a sweet, gentle nature, especially around children, making her both a dedicated worker and a loving companion.
As a mother, Ginger was exceptional—gentle, nurturing, and mindful of her pups. She passed on her drive, stamina, and power to her offspring, producing strong, capable working dogs who inherit her remarkable work ethic and temperament.

LITTLE SUNSHINE DS
Sunshine is the female I kept back from Rose Gold Retrievers’ very first litter, the offspring of Gabbie and Dominick. She is everything you could hope for in a working dog—driven, powerful, sensitive, and highly intelligent. Sunshine combines the intense drive of her mother with the confidence and raw power of her father, making her a standout in both performance and temperament.
From the start, Sunshine has impressed with her athleticism and focus. In her first dock diving session, she achieved an impressive 19' 2" jump, showcasing her strength, precision, and determination. I am personally training her for explosives detection work, where she has demonstrated incredible scent discrimination and a keen nose for new odors, having already been imprinted on six different scents.
Sunshine’s combination of drive, intelligence, and sensitivity makes her a highly capable working dog with the potential to excel in high-demand roles. I will be searching for a strong, well-tempered male to pair with her in the future, ensuring her exceptional traits in detection, obedience, and overall work ethic are carried on to the next generation.

DJ, from Rose Gold Retrievers' first breeding of Gabbie and Dominick, is a remarkable dog with a perfect balance of softness, intelligence, and steady nerves. Like his mother, he is gentle and quick to learn, while his father's calm temperament gives him a grounded and composed nature. This unique combination makes DJ an ideal candidate for specialized service dog work. Currently paired with a handler, DJ is being trained as a Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) medical alert and response dog by Rose Gold K9s. He has shown exceptional ability, high drive, and a steady, stable personality, making him a perfect fit for this demanding role. His genuine love for both his work and his handler is evident in everything he does, and we are excited to use DJ as the foundation of our specific medical alert service program in the future.

At Rose Gold Canines, my breeding program is built around the Labrador’s unmatched versatility as a working breed. I intentionally pair the breed’s gentle, trustworthy nature with strong drive, energy, and resilience, producing dogs that are both stable and safe while possessing the genetic components needed to excel in demanding roles. My goal is to develop Labradors that can confidently meet the challenges of service work, law enforcement, and sport—dogs bred with purpose for handlers who expect more and are committed to bringing out their full potential.
