K9 Chief is a certified single-purpose Explosive Detection Dog for the Union County Sheriff’s Office K9 Search and Rescue Unit. He recently passed his detection certification with flying colors, proving his skill, focus, and reliability on the job. A constant bundle of fun and positive energy, he truly embodies the outgoing spirit of the Labrador. Beyond scent detection, K9 Chief and his handler visit schools and local community events to educate the public about the K9 Unit—winning hearts everywhere they go. Everyone loves K9 Chief!

RGR's EF5 Tasmanian Twister "Taz"
K9 Sofia was raised and trained by Carmelo Vinci of Roman Empire K9 Academy and is a duel purpose Explosive detection and SAR K9 with the Essex County Sheriffs Office. She has worked close with not only Essex county but Port Authority as well! Carmelo and Sofia were given the "Selfless Service Award" for their part in keeping the community safe after a bomb threat was made at an election location.

Lotti was paired with a cancer survivor as a started service dog and was raised and trained by me with that purpose in mind. When her handler became ill, Lotti returned to my care—but her story doesn’t end there. In the future, I’ll be sharing updates on where she is and the important work she’s doing next.
